How to Receive a Massage

You will first be asked to fill out a client questionnaire detailing your medical history. Please be as thorough as possible when filling out your questionnaire, so your therapist can design your massage to best suit your needs.

Your therapist will then go over your questionnaire and discuss any concerns you may have. They will then leave the room, allowing you to undress and get on the massage table. You will be asked to remove all jewelry and clothing. You may fully undress, or you may leave your underwear on, depending on your comfort level. You will be draped at all times under a sheet, and only the body part that your therapist is working on will be undraped.

Your therapist will enter the room when you are ready. Always feel free to comment on the pressure being used, the warmth of the room, etc. This is your time and your massage.

Finally, take a deep breath, relax, and let your body and mind unwind…
